On the 8th December 2010, the Bassingbourn Action Group received news that the land on Spring Lane had been rejected as a site options.
However the press release included the unwelcome news that a site adjacent to the A1198 in Kneesworth had been included in List 2, of sites that should be explored further.
This site has been set up to allow the residents of Kneesworth and the neighbouring villages find out more about the plans and bring their views to a wider audience. If you live or work in or around Kneesworth and the surrounding area, this will probably affect you.
Included on this site is an Email Subscription (it’s on the home page on the right), which we are using to compile a list of people who wish to be kept informed of developments and there is also a Facebook Group. Alternatively you can send an email directly to kneesworthcommunitygroup@gmail.com. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated, we are a very small community but a united one.
There are a couple of ways that you can subscribe to updates from this site, which will notify you of updates without you needing to check back on a regular basis. There is an RSS feed from the site which can be added as a web browser bookmark, listing any posts and updating as the site is updated. You can add that same feed to a newsreader, and maybe even have it automatically download any new posts for you to read at your leisure. If you use a web home page such as igoogle, they also have the ability to monitor new posts to this site.
